Silent Auction Info



As many of you know, we hold a raffle and silent auction during our final Butternut Race Club Social, which will be on Sat. March 10th. The final social for the race team is a lot of fun, with food, friends, kids sledding, a great raffle and silent auction.

In addition to raffle items, we are looking for donations of goods and services that are at a slightly higher price point for the silent auction.

Items such as:

  • Tickets to sporting or cultural events (if you have season tickets to anything, those would be great, or if you work somewhere you can get tickets (Daily Show, Tonight Show, etc.)
  • A stay in your weekend home
  • A service you provide (landscaping, consulting, photography, whatever). It’s also a great way to promote your business. We have enough people in NYC, Boston and CT that it doesn’t have to be Berkshire-specific.
  • Lessons for something you are good at: cake decorating, private ski lesson, ski tuning.
  • Goods that might be of interest to our skiers. New ski equipment or clothing.
  • Gift certificates to local restaurants, ice cream/candy shops

Please email with a brief description of what you are offering, your location, the value and dates if applicable. A photo or website link would be helpful too. You can download a vendor request form from our website here .

Please respond before March 3 so we can put together a complete list of donations. And please forward this to your Butternut race friends so they can help come up with great items for the raffle and auction. 

Donations are tax-deductible and profits from the auction and raffle will go directly to the Butternut Race Club.
