Race Team Jackets and Hats

Our popular gray Spyder insulator jackets are now available in our online store. The jacket quality has improved and sample sizes are available to try on in the Butternut Ski Shop. Refer to the sizing charts when ordering online and remember to order up a size (generally speaking) since the sizing usually runs small. Name embroidery is available using one name only (first or last name). Click here to order now.

Order Now For Pick Up Before Christmas Place your order online now through November 21th (midnight). All jacket orders received by then will be embroidered and available for pick up in the Butternut Ski Shop starting December 3rd. Remember to order early to ensure you get the size you need for your racer since we’ve purchased all of our inventory and will likely not be able to get more this season.

watermarked_small-3In addition to the jackets, Butternut Race Trucker Style Hats are available this year. If we get enough interest in pre-orders, we will fulfill the orders. If not, you’ll be refunded. Purchasing now is the only way to guarantee you’ll get one. Here’s how it works: Place your order online by November 21 and if we meet our minimum order quantity, they’ll be available for pick up in the Butternut Ski Shop starting December 17, if available from the manufacturer. Hat is a trucker style with black brim and front panels and white mesh back, with adjustable snap closure. One size fits most. Click here to purchase a hat

Race Club Management Team

The response to our request for Race Club Management Team volunteers was very positive. THANK YOU! We’re still looking for videographer volunteers in Tristate to videotape our racers 2-3 times per month. This important role will enable coaches to review the video together frame by frame with our racers to help our athletes improve their technique. We also need another volunteer to assist on club fundraising and someone to manage our Interclub Skills Quest program during the Interclub race at Butternut. Please sign up on or before November 15. As previously stated, all Race Club Management Team members will receive a complimentary jacket. Click here to sign up

We thank you in advance for becoming part of the team!

Get Organized Now

Before the snow falls, it’s a good idea to check your racer’s gear for fit, read the regulations for ski length and FIS helmets (see our our older posts below), enroll in USSA (required for all) and sign up for our Development, Interclub or Tristate programs including Xmas Camp. Used gear is available to buy or sell on our website in the classifieds section

Think Snow!

The weak La Nina predicted by the weather channel has said our area (o.k. the edge of Western Mass) is projected to be colder earlier in the season with above average precipitation predicted!
