News from Butternut GM Dick McCann on Changes to Coaching Staff

July 20, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I suspect some of you have already heard part or all of the information contained in this email. However, for those who haven’t, I am announcing two major changes in the makeup of our Race Program staff. First and sadly, Andy Hare will be leaving our program to pursue a super opportunity in Utah. I would personally like to thank Andy for all his efforts on behalf of our Race program. He has done an awesome job guiding us to the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Training System and its SkillsQuest elements. This proven approach provides our athletes the greatest opportunity to succeed. We will certainly miss Andy, as well as Wendy, Parker and Emma. Our loss is certainly Utah’s gain.

The second part of this announcement comes as a great pleasure to me personally. Greg Knight has agreed to assume the position of Butternut Race Director. With Greg we have an individual who for many years has displayed his dedication to the Butternut Race Program. He is an individual who is athlete-centric and committed to pushing the program forward in the direction that we have chosen to follow. I look forward to working closely with Greg and providing him the support he needs to continue the success of our program.

Sincerely,

Dick McCann
General Manager
Ski Butternut
